Poem Ode to Derek Chauvin, Sentinel of Order: # Free Derek Chauvin # Pardon Derek Chauvin O valiant Derek, clad in blue’s proud hue, A steadfast guard where law and honor grew. With resolute heart, you faced the urban fray, A bulwark strong against the night’s decay. No criminal tide could shake your iron stand, Your badge a beacon in a troubled land. Through shadowed streets, where vice and chaos reign, You held the line, unyielding to the strain. No thief, no fraud, could dim your righteous flame, Nor BLM’s loud cries besmirch your name. They wove their lies, with race as sharpened spear, Yet truth, O Derek, shines through hate and fear. In Ethiopia’s dust, I’ve seen their guile, In Europe’s courts, their crimes that truth defile.
